Why a rug shop, not a carpet truck
It comes up on nearly every Coral Springs job we visit. The tile and laminate already have a service booked, and the good rug anchoring the living room feels like it could simply ride along on the same appointment.

Wool, silk & everything hand-knotted
Different fibers and dyes call for different handling — which is the whole reason we test before we wash. Every rug below gets the same in-plant care: measured, pH and dye tested, deep-dusted, washed, and speed-dried.
Hand-knotted Orientals are textiles, not carpet. They deserve a full bath in the plant — not a hot wand dragged across them on the tile.

Pricing, the honest way
Because two rugs the same size can need entirely different work.
A machine-made 8×10 in decent shape is a simple wash. The same size hand-knotted rug with unstable dyes, years of buried grit and a pet accident soaked into one corner is a different job altogether.
What genuinely moves the number: the measured size, what the rug is made of and how it was built, whether the dyes hold, how much soil is packed into it, any pet contamination, and whether the fringe or edges need work.
So we inspect first, then quote — once, before a machine ever runs.
The pre-inspection costs nothing, and the figure we quote when we collect the rug is the figure on the final bill. For the rug anchoring a two-story family room, that means no coupon gimmicks, no phone guesses, and no quiet bump when we carry it back in.

We run free pickup and delivery across every part of Coral Springs — Eagle Trace, Turtle Run, The Isles, Maplewood, Ramblewood and the rest — plus neighboring Parkland, Coconut Creek and Margate. We arrive at your door, roll and wrap the rug ourselves, and return it once the work is finished.
A hand-knotted rug is a loose textile, not carpet tacked to the floor. Steaming it in place drives grit deeper into the foundation, risks the dyes running, and leaves it drying slowly on your tile — which is how browning starts in the Coral Springs humidity. It belongs flat in a wash pit, flushed until the water runs clear.
We test it before we wet it. Every rug gets a pre-inspection with a pH reading and a dye-stability check in a hidden corner, because some older vegetable-dyed pieces will bleed the moment water hits them wrong. If yours reads as a risk, we change the method — and we show you what we found before a drop touches the pile.
We price after the inspection, never before. Size, fiber, how it was made, dye stability, how much soil is packed in the pile, pet contamination and any repair needs all pull the number in different directions, so a figure over the phone would only be a guess. When we collect the rug we examine it and give you the exact price before any cleaning begins.
Most of the time, yes. Urine dries into alkaline salts buried in the foundation, and wiping the surface never reaches them — so we submerge and flush the whole rug to dissolve them out. Old or repeated accidents can be stubborn, and we give you an honest read at the inspection on what result is realistic before you commit to anything. More on pet odor removal.
Yes, and every bit of it is done by hand at our own shop, never shipped out. That covers fringe repair and replacement, side and edge overcasting, hole repair and reweaving, moth damage, dry rot, resizing and full restoration. If a repair would cost more than the rug is worth, we tell you plainly instead of selling you the work.
Most rugs are home in about a week. The wash is followed by controlled speed-drying in a temperature and humidity managed room, which is what keeps the colors from wandering — so we do not rush it. Rugs that also need hand repairs take a bit longer, and you get an honest timeline at the inspection, not a surprise at delivery.
